Skin Loves What Nature Makes

Nothing but the cleanest ingredients.

All ingredients are certified organic

Hi, I’m Bethany👋🏼, founder of Tommy’s Tallow Co.!

I started this business inspired by my son, Tommy. After he was born, I found myself scrutinizing every ingredient label, and I never felt fully comfortable putting just anything on his skin. So I started making him his own balms using the tallow I already had in my kitchen for cooking.

Around that time, a mom friend posted a desperate plea on Facebook, asking for any tips to heal her son’s bad diaper rash. I reached out right away and offered her a jar of my tallow balm. The next morning, she messaged me — his rash had already cleared by 50%. Hearing that filled me with joy, and that’s when the idea of turning this into a business started to take shape.

As I began selling baby products, I knew I didn’t want to stop there. I wanted to expand and create clean products for adults too. My mission is simple: to make high-quality skincare for all ages, and to be a source you can trust for clean skincare that holds itself to the highest standard.

Deeply Nourishing Herbal Infusions

Good things take time. I let our organic herbs steep into the tallow for a full 24 hours on low heat, so every batch is packed with as much nutrients as possible.

7 Day Purification

Our tallow undergoes a slow, seven-day purification process at low heat — a deliberate departure from quick, high-heat rendering methods. This gentle approach allows impurities to fully separate out while preserving the integrity of the tallow’s natural nutrients, resulting in a clean, stable base with minimal odor and maximum benefit for your skin.

Happy, Grass-Fed Cows

Our tallow starts right here in Ohio, sourced from a local family rancher who raises grass-fed cattle the way it should be done — with room to roam and a life spent grazing on open pasture. These are genuinely happy cows, and that matters to me, not just ethically but in the quality you can feel in every jar.
